hello...10 minute job into 2 days
hi,
i'm new here and have just completed an easy task (yeah right) on my 75 914. what started as an easy job replacing my accelerator cable turned into 2 days of scraped knuckles, flashlights, and many i told you not buy a car off ebay comments from my wife. !! ha.ha. but got the job done and thats all that matters i'm in missouri now, but am going to bremerton, wa next month. if there are any other 914's in the area let me know. also a reputable restorer would be cool too. cya fatshttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087610649.jpg |
There are the local PCA AX's every month at Bremerton Raceway. Lots of 914 guys in South Sound. Post over on the 914club.com site to meet up with them.

howdy, as geoff stated, LOTS of owners in the puget sound area. we have semi regular breakfasts. even if you don't a-x, show up at the race track and make some contacts. it's located about 10 miles, maybe less, from the city of bremerton. check the pca site for dates. i live near tacoma.

Welcome!
Exactly where in Missouri are you located and when will you be relocating? I see that you're in the military, what branch? |
thanx for all the advice. i'm at whiteman afb, in knobnoster "home of the B2 Bomber, and will be going to Bremerton in July. I'm in the Navy and bought my 914 after returning from the middle east as a present to myself.
