another lifter question
With all this news of lifter failure.....what are the stock lifters like, for sale here at pelican for??? The ones for around 9 bucks each???

I work for Pelican, and I would be wary. It's not that I doubt our product, but considering all of us distributors get our parts from mostly the same wholesalers, you're gonna get the same thing just about anywhere, which leads me to the point that if you have a problem with "company A's" lifters, then eventually, no matter how lucky, you'll have a problem with "company B's lifters.
Our only hope is quality control and devine intervention until then. Or bucks for ceramics or one of Jakes broken-in, pre-tested sets.

Jake recently started testing different sets of lifters so it's just a matter of time until he gets to the truth and we learn who makes the bad ones. It'll save a lot of people a lot of grief. Check out this thread on his forum for more info.
