Trunk Lid Support
 

Could any of you list some of the pros and cons associated with the installation of trunk lid shock type lift kit.

Pros,
-No more tension loaded bars that are a #%@! to put on.
-No more rollers to worry about.
-Does not change the fit of the lid
-I dont know anyone who did it and did NOT like it :-)

Cons,
-The kits are all bolt ons. This requires screws and washers in the rain channel. I welded mine on to avoid this.
-Requires a chunk of the forward trunk wall to be cut out so the lifts will lie flat.
