Dual carb sync

I have a 2.0 with dual weber carbs. To properly set them I need a unisyn sync tool. My question is do the tools vary in size according to which carbs you have or will the same tool cover the throats of the 40's and the 44's as well?? Do I need to get a tool for the specific carbs that I have? I see them advertised as fitting webers, Dels and solex but they can't all flow the same cfm.

The uni-syn is an inexpensive synchonizer that has a small ball that you try to adjust with thumb screw to get it to float between two lines. You sync all the throats to that same setting. Its a unversal flat base that has a rubber gasket that sits ontop of the velocity stacks, if you dont have the stacks you could use a piece of rubber tubing between the throats and sync, cost about 30 bucks. Then there is the SK Synchrometer that has a needle that points to the kilo per hour of air intake, very precise. It has rubber cone shaped sleeves that fit down the throat, it cost about 80 bucks.

Its just easier to use and get readings, you pock it in, look, then go to the next one. Your not having to adjust the gauge or make sure you have a good seal. You can go back and fourth from carb to carb as fast as you can move your arm.
