OT: Abolishing front plate in MD ...
Saw this link in another site, in case you Marylanders (dites? duhs?) are interested:
Maryland Front Plate Elimination Petition In FL, we're not required to run a front plate, unless you just gotta have a flea market mirrored-look-airbrushed-make-model-gold-framed bling-bling for all to see. Guess it's nice to have the option.

signed, have not had a front plate on the 914 since 2000...atually I nevr put one one thanks rouser!

Like a fool I listened to a friend of mine that said to keep my historic plates in the car, so I could run English tags on my '59 mini. The cop thought this was a good one and called another patrol car to the scene only to check out the car. They were all smiles and said to put the tags on. Pete in Maryland
