Lithium grease on A-Arm bushings?

I've seen all those fancy smancy Teflon grease for suspension bushings, but won't Lithium grease work? I guess it won't work quite as well, but will it interact with the poly bushings like petroleum grease? Is there any reason to NOT use it?

Thanks

I use AMSOil 2000 racing synthetic grease and there is no adverse reaction with bushings and it will not run even if used to seal pushrod tube o-rings or the o-rings on the turbo outlet of our 1987 930.

Teflon does not attract/hold dirt like lithium grease will.

Well, I chickened out.

I cleaned off the Lithium grease on the bushings I did ( BTW has anyone else had to use a gear puller to get the old bushings off, or is it just my wonderful luck???) and used "Sil-Glide" a silicon based grease.

$2.99 at FLAPS, only now I wonder if the silicon will promote rust?
