How much $$$ can one expect to get for a good running 2.0? all stock with F.I. car can be driven/ inspected.

That pretty much depends on the condition of the car. I know you mentioned stock, but sometimes the stock motor has been rebuilt. A good 2.0 with FI and very minimal rust could be had for around $5k. Take it for a drive and feel/listen to it. Also check the obvious places for rust. Good luck

Here's a recent ebay listing for two GA engines.

--------

MotorMeister sold this motor on ebay on Dec. 31, 2003 for $859.

Quote:
1973 1/2 914 PORSCHE
2.0 COMPLETE MOTOR

Serial #GA013784

Motor History:

We are doing a complete 914 to 914-6 conversion and car is VERY clean! We pulled the complete motor and exhaust system for the conversion!

This motor is a 1973 1/2 914 4 Cylinder 2.0, which was the highest factory Horse Power motor with 95HP because of its expensive and rare 2.0 "3-bolt" heads!
Motor was running good before pulled!

What you see is what you get!

All nice and stock except for the Performance muffer!

$1000 for the complete motor...possibly more if you knew the history...you could run the compression and leak down numbers on it as well, with good strong numbers, you could ask even more.
