1974 1.8 L-jet missing

My 1974 1.8 L-jet runs great for about 15-20 minutes after a cold start then starts cutting out. At idle, it may die and be hard or impossible to start. Can anyone help? Thanks for any feedback?

Make sure the temperature sensor in the head is tightly screwed in. It's located kind of under the intake runner on the #3 cylinder. I had mine back out on me when I accidently left it only hand tight and it gave me fits sputtering and misfiring. You'll have to remove the intake to tighten it but you should be able to reach under the sheet metal with a finger to see if it's loose. Of course the sensor may be bad to, so check the resistance even if it's tight.
