Wash car : then no fuel pump
It just happened again. I wash the car over at the coin op car wash. Drive it around the block, car dies. Now it won't run.
NO FUEL PUMP when the key is turned on. Fuel pump is relocated to the front. What connection am I looking for ? Its got to be simple, within and hour it will start and run fine. Relay board has a cover, but it gets wet. ![]()

Have you checked the fuses and their connections on the relay board?

Fuses were fine. Three hours later. It dry's out and runs like a top.
Must be the relay board. Using the sprayer must over load the rain tray. Then pour right down on to the relay board. It does have a cover, but it gets water down inside it.

I just did the same thing Friday. Got the ar ready for a weekend of tool'n round with the bro-n-law & his Boxster in the wine country.... but NOOOOOO. After waxing & making the car
B E E E A U T I F U L I took off to go to the store and it bucked & stalled.... I'm workin on it now & I think it might be a CHT (even tho the one that's in there is only a year old. It runs great at first start then once warm it sounds like it floods out & dies. It'll start again but only run if I pump the gas. Goin to look at Brad Anders site for some elec. info now....... ![]() .....b

Check your AAR plug. Its the same circuit and it can easily be shorted out with water.
