cyl heads on, woohoo

It's late and I'm pooped, but it's all together - not running yet (not getting spark for whatever reason, I spent all day buttoning things up, I'll get it fired up tomorrow...)

Here's what I have after getting the heads done -

.045 deck
55cc chambers

I measured the chambers with a cc'd syringe and a flat circle of plastic (stop laughing at me), and the deck with a 'real' Starret depth gauge.

before machining they were 59-60cc, and after machining they were just under that, at about 55-56cc. It was so close afterwards, that it was tough to tell - it would seem that .010 that was removed is next to nothing at all? What stinks is that my compression tester this time was the smoosh-it-in-and hold-it-tight-rubber-plug type, and I was getting readings from 105psi to 145 psi over the 4 cyls - each time was different. I mustn't have been smooshing it right, I'll get my regular screw-in type later in the week to check it right.
I'll figger out the spark problem tomorrow, I spent all day today (awesome weather today, got a ton done) putting it together and am gittin' sleepy.................

Oh yeah, trans has new seal too, thanks for the tips - I used a deck screw to yank out the old front seal, and I was able to tighten up the clutch fork too as well as grease everything nicely, and put in some fresh oil. Painted the top tin car color too, I think it looks jes' dandy.
Me tired - sleep now.....

[Edited to hopefully fix third photo. --DD]
