GT Engine Cover Fabrication info.

I'm thinking of making a GT style engine cover and can't seem to find a tech article about it. Is any one aware of any do it yourself articles on the topic? Thanks

Well.... what I did was cut the metal out of the front and installed the metal mesh from another lid ........ on the under side.
I used JB weld to hold it in............ ITs a race car .
cost me$ 2.95 for the JB weld ......works great looks good.....
