2.0 head cores - what are they worth?
Whats the minimum value on a nasty pair of 2.0 head cores? Both are rebuildable, one definitely needs a couple seats and the other has visible cracks in one cylinder.

I would give $50 for the set. Is it fair? Who knows, but that is what I would be willing to give for them.

Rebuilt heads are worth 5-600 without a core. To have a good shop rebuild them, 350-450. Typical "shop" core charge is 150-200 each. You can get them at swap meets for 50-100 each, but they are probably thrashed.
"I" would take them to a shop to see if they are rebuildable, have them done and then sell them. Just my $.02. |
