You'll need to remove the windsheild trim, cut out the windsheild, remove the blower unit under the louvered panel, as well as the wiper transmission assembly. If I were doing the repair i'd remove the gas tank as well. (it's safer when rewelding the new panel) Remove the plastic filler strips that sit in the gap between the wiper panel and the fender. NEVER start to trim the old part off until you have the replacement part in your possesion! It really bites when the part shows up and it's smaller than you've planned. If I were doing the part change, i'd cut the panel off leaving about 1/2" of the original panel next to the fender. Use a spot weld drill bit (auto body supply store)and drill the spot welds that secure the outer wiper panel skin to the base of the inner frame. Carefully trim the part to replace the one you've removed. Flange the 1/2" original wiper panel you left intact next to the fender and weld the replacement part to the flanged original. If you get stuck consult a local body shop. A good shop doesn't mind a LITTLE free advice. Just don't expect them to fix the car for you for free. Pelican can probably supply you with new fill strips, windshield trim clips, and any thing else you'll need. They may even have a good used wiper panel. If they don't someone member here will. The above is my opinion, others may have a better way.
Good Luck
