I finally got a picture of my '76 914. Does anybody know how the Carrera got on the side? Is this factory or added on later

Added on later.

There's no such thing as a 914 Carrera; just a graphic highjacked from the 911 crowd.

It also had a 911 rear deflector that had been cut to fit. I took this off so I could latch the trunk

Sell the reflector on Ebay and you will probably get over a hundred for it if it is in good condition. Sell it as a cut 911 piece to fit a 914. Goodluck, Pete

That Carrera stripe actually looks cool.

I kind of like like it. I don't think the average person would know any better
