New Clutch
I have a stronge 2.0L with many modifications, the clutch is gone and I need a new one. Any suggestions on which is the best clutch for this application.
Is there much of a difference or should I just use the standard clutch packages PP and others offer. Thanks ------------------ keith bird |
Be sure to get the 911 6 spring disk.
Ask for Darrin @ Pelican. He will make sure you get the right stuff... Make sure to get the little Y looking piece that holds the shift fork onto the tranny. And be sure that you have a metal and not a plastic piece that goes onto the end of the clutch cable. Also a good time to paint the flywheel for the 0 degree and 180 degree mark. ------------------ Smoke Daddy |
I would suggest getting the 20 piece kit from PP. Your new clutch should last the rest of the life of your car (unless your putting more them 100,000 miles on it http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif ). Make sure you do the job right and replace all worn parts, or you will be back down their again very very soon.
