Value of 1.7 l engine + trans
 
I have someone offering me a garage cleanout of a complete, unstuck 1.7 engine and trans + set of Mahle rims with new tires for $400 obo for the lot.

I do not want to get stuck with any of it and I am new to 914s. I do not have a 914 but figured i may be able to make a little school money on the parts - any ideas

mahle's are worth the 400 especcialy with new tires. (put them on your car)

a 1.7 engine can vary HUGELY! if it is unrebuilt, carbed FI, SS HE's, complete etc 0-600 bucks
