How quick is your car? Did you ever take it to a drag strip or time it with a G-tech?

I do not have any hard numbers, but I have estimated the HP to be 260-280. The peak HP occurs when my foot hits the floor.
It is a 305 CI with a 600 Holley dbl pumper, Wieand 8004 intake, and some mild porting. The engine came out of a race car so I am not sure of the cam. I bought the engine from a guy who wrecked his stock car for the last time. Its a very fun car. Not the fastest in the world, but very respectable.
Thx
Mark

sweet ride. I like the green...and the V8, of course. these cars get scarry fast after about 300 hp. my car is at about 350/350. I got much more fun out of my car after I took a performance driving course

Very nice. Those rear wings never did any justice for the 914 IMO, but with those bumpers and that color, it flows well.
Is that the lowest you can go? Looks alittle high from these angles.

Thanks, I added the wing beacuse with the 916 front bumper the front looked too long. The wing evens out the car front to back.
As to the height, I am going to lower the front a little.
Overall the car is not too bad considering I have less than $8000 into it including the donor car.
Thanks
Mark

Its a 916 style bumper that I modified with the exhaust lightcatchers and modified front and rear fascia lines.
Thanks
Mark
