I smoke after I finish!!

I just finished putting togather my 74 LE and after a long and usually hard drive it will give up a some smoke out of the pipes. I replaced the valve seals in the heads and seated the valves, new stuff throughout. I have driven it about 500 miles since completion. Rings and jugs are in good shape honed the jugs but only took off a small ridge I am lost! I didn't replace the guides but they were like new. The car runs like a raped ape any Ideas?
