Rollbar trim
Noticed an item in the new Tweeks catalogue; vinyl trim piece for the rollbar. It comes in a number of colors. Cost is $40 or so. Question is, has anyone tried to install this piece? How well does it form itself to the various roll, bends, and corners found on the rollbar pad. Also, what do you you do to fill the cracks in the existing vinyl? I would guess the old cracks would show under the new vinyl. For the price, it seems worth the try for my 73 914. Would appreciate any insight or comments. THANKS!

Is this kit you refer to the 3 piece kit? You didn't provide a part number from the catalog.
If its the one I'm thinking about...its the 3 pieces for the exterior of the roll bar...it does not cover the rollbar pad on the interior of the car. |
