Time for tires
My trusty Bridgestone HP41 Potenzas have finally worn beyond the repair limit. Got a flat this morning that my tire guy would rather not fix. (The tires are over 95% worn, about 80k miles.)
I have had great luck with Bridgestones and wouldn't mind getting them again except for two things: 1. The current equivalent to the HP41 is, I believe, the RE92 (or 93?). Nice, but "looks" tall and round. I would prefer a more flat, square profile. 2. I am also an avid off-roader and Bridgestone has recently supported some policies that I just can't agree with. Odd, considering they also make off-road tires. Many in the OHV community are calling for a boycot. How about Yokohama? I've heard good things but also that they may have quality problems. Any suggestions for a daily diver? No autocrossing (yet). Looking for 205/60-15. TIA |
