Speed Channel - All NASCAR all the time?!

It's sure starting to seem like it. I can't wait until F1 starts next month.

So back to the original thread...
If I want to watch F1 I have to subscribe to a premium cable chanel which would add $80 to my current bill. ( I have to subscribe to the basic package to keep my broadband connection). I save my money and go to the race in Montreal instead.
I like all sorts of auto racing and was a big fan of old school Nascar. Now I find it ( with the exception of Bristol, Sonoma and Watkins Glen) un watchable.
Oddly enough I like the CORR series...(kinda rally cross meets baja) .
And for those of us in the South , the MARs modified series is by far the most entertaining to watch in person. Large fields , a fair amount of talent and fast cars on tight tracks.

I have a therory about folks who think superspeedway nascar is interesting....they are the same folks who travel the interstate 95 % of the time , windows rolled up, cruise control on and probably yakin on the mobile.
They would never dream of taking a side road that has curves and hills just for pleasure.

Having said that F1 can be pretty boring in its present state. For my money give me ALMS, Grand Am and touring cars . (None of which come close to where I live)
just my 2 euros worth
