Just got back from the Buttonwillow 100 Clubrace hosted by the Porsche Owners Club. There was a fairly full field of very fast cars including a 996GT3R, several 993RSR's, 914/6 GT's, strange and innovative variants of 911's with huge F5000 style snorkels and the always threatening monster winged 944's.
The paddock area was just as interesting with 935's, Ferrari 355 Challenge cars, several more 996 GT3R's, and an interesting 906 rebodied (and turbocharged) to a Camel Lights type car.
I wasn't able to get pictures of all the cars but I did walk around with my digital camera and got some of the more interesting cars. They're posted at our RealRide Videos website (as opposed to the RealRide Racing site). We usually post them on the Video Site's Gallery before we eventually transfer them to the Racing site's Gallery. While you're there, don't forget to visit our Message Board for Racing Enthusiasts. Anyway, I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed attending the event.
