tie rod ends

I'm in the middle of redoing my 72 914. I am replacing the front struts outward (includ-ing brakes)with parts from a 1979 911SC and have already gotten the correct ball joint to attach the strut to the lower A arms. Do I also need to change the tie rod end at the strut side or will the one currently in the 914 be correct (of course, if its worn, it will be replaced, just not sure of which one to use). Thanks

I not sure about which one to use, but what I would recommend is to buy a set of 930 turbo tie rods. A great improvement . I purchased mine from Pelican (where else???)

Until I could afford the turbo tie rods, I used the original 914 tie rod ends.
