Saw a 550 today!
So Here I am coming back from the bike store in the truck when I see a Beck Spyder parked in front of "Party City". I oarked quickly and my son and I got out to look. Owner comes out and I introduce us, then comment on the level of fit and finish. Asking what it was (meaning Beck or whatever), hw said 440.
 I said "well right" but um....Story goes it came over from France as just frame - it was aformer racer all but destroyed, he rebodied (I dont recall- what but not Beck. It looked just right. It had a large type IV motor anyway, it was eally cool, and amazing to see here in Little Huntsville, AL.

440 eh, have a sixpack on that 440, haha. I guess people can like the look of a car w/o knowing anything about it eh. The car might have been a 'Vintage' kitcar...they make really nice ones. Im my opinion even better looking than the Beck's.

That was a typo- I said "is it real? a 550?", he said " it's a 'mine'." meaning built it himself. The 440 was complete typo.
