Clarion SRV 303 Sub anyone????
 

Has anyone installed one of the Clarion SRV 303 powered subs before? Or... know anyone who has?

I see them advertised and am wondering about the sound quality. So far, I have only found one thread on 914club.com of a guy who installed it and seemed to be pleased.

I have one and I think it sucks. It's gathering dust on a shelf. Glad I didn't pay full price for it. Besides poor base, you can hear the 'breathing' noise of air through the port.

Thanks for the feedback. I see some on ebay for $100 and for that, I guess I could go for a new center console with the sub built in.

I was wondering why I did not see more of these out there. Maybe in an enclosed vehicle the sound would be better...

Jason, I had it in my car for awhile and I took it out. I found it was annoying. I tried line level and speaker level inputs and neither sounded good.
