I all, has anyone added a dead foot rest for the driver side? I have been cruising around and find that there is no really great place to put your left foot. It's not that I am too tall (6 foot). Let me hear about how many of you have dealt with this situation.

There are two possible ways to go, buy one which tend to be a little small, I feel for the cost, or make one as I did. I think there are some pictures of it with the 914 race car article on the PP site here. I made mine from 0.25 inch aluminum and bent it so my foot is even with the clutch pedal and I use 6 sheet metal screws to hold it in. Aluminum that thick is hard to bend but is managable. Good luck.

There is a member of the 914Club.com that is making SS dead pedals and pedal covers. The dead pedal alone is $42, there are pics of other member's installs.
They're listed in the "914 Resources, Parts and Products" forum as "Dead, Clutch, Brake and Accell SS Pedals, The full meal deal!"
