Manual antenna question
Just bought a nice 73 2.0L 914 for my son and it has the original (hirschman?) antenna. I pushed it in to go to the carwash and it popped in all the way. I cannot figure out how to get it to come back up... It is spring loaded and moves in an eighth of an inch or so but there seems to be some kind of stopper or switch or something that holds it in. There is a slot on the side of the antenna housing that seems like it would make sense that if I slide something into it that the antenna would pop up but it doesnt... any ideas? The antenna seems to be in perfect shape.

There was a little key that you used to unlock it. Stick two pieces of flattened wire (solid 14 ga) in the slit to open it.
