TPS Reports, please

When I test my TPS I get no reading then a low reading for resistance or "0". Actually it reads ".06" Should I get a resistance value as I adjust it CW or CCW until it reads "0", because all I get is off the chart resistance then "0" no in betwween. Maybe I should inspect and clean it?

I love that movie...

Anyway, the TPS really is a switch. You should go from no connection to a dead short. 0.06 ohms is about as close to a dead short as most meters are going to read. That transition point is what you are checking for--that is what you want to happen just as the throttle barely starts opening.
