Lorelei's back! (Or: When the 'teener came home.)
Dead tired right now, will update with pictures and all that when I get back to Seattle and have my high-speed internet available again, but I just had to share the basics.
After a year without my '76 'teener, she came home, in better shape than ever. It's so good to have the girl home, I just love it. I forgot just how much I'd missed her. Kudos to the man I traded her to for taking good care of her and for letting me know she was back on the market. Aaron |
Pictures now. :) How I missed her. :)

http://www.pantheon.org/articles/l/lorelei.html "According to German legend, there was once a beautiful young maiden, named Lorelei, who threw herself headlong into the river in despair over a faithless lover. Upon her death she was transformed into a siren and could from that time on be heard singing on a rock along the Rhine River, near St. Goar. Her hypnotic music lured sailors to their death. The legend is based on an echoing rock with that name near Sankt Goarshausen, Germany." Seemed appropriate for a car that I bought on a whim and had to trailer back to Ohio from New Hampshire. (Now that she's grabbed hold of me again, it seems even more accurate.) |
The Sirens of Type-IV, luring shade-tree mechanics to their economic death. I can hear that hypnotic valve-ringing call....
