I probably won't be able to make it. The lack of a day-job means funding for "fun stuff" is pretty tight; and if I get a new day-job so I have the funds, I won't have the time off...

So, unless something pretty big changes between now and then, I think I'll have to say no. Sorry...

Alright, alright. A Porsche event reasonably close to my backyard. I'll see if I can make it although I don't think I'd drive the 911 since I haven't enough time to sort it to the point of trusting it on a long journey just yet.

May I suggest Eddie McStiff's, local brewery on Main street. It's been a while since I've been there but fortunately for me I can buy 6-packs in Salt Lake. Canyon Cream Ale and Moab Rock Amber Ale are my favs. If they still have the jalepeno wheat beer, try it, it's different.

Brian,

there are 2 guys coming from Salt Lake
you may want to caravan with them
one of them helped organize the event
Eric Shea

I think we are doing an after hours trips to Eddie McStiffs.
the ceremony dinner is at the other brewery in town, but a bunch of people want to stop by Eddie's too.

Dave: If your not working come on up with me. I know that Toast and Linda are going. I'm taking the motor home and the new trailer so in think I have room for a car.

Joe, if I'm the Dave you are addressing... I'm not exactly down near Pelican World HQ, there. It's a bit far for me to go. And I don't think the GF would be happy about me running off, somehow.

Well I was sure hoping to get to Moab this weekend but that's not gonna happen because of the wife's work schedule. But, on a good note, the 911 is getting better and better every time I drive it and I should be able to squeeze in an hour or two for a drive. Have a fun and safe trip to all.
