Another temp question with pic
Hello there 76 911s 11 blade fan, no external oil cooler. No thermal reactors. 80 degrees outside 40 minute drive . Is this temp reasonable. It is my 1 year anniversary, taking the wife to Niagara Falls on Saturday {3 hour drive} Wanted to make sure car would be ok. Any help would be appreciated. I have been hunting down a Idle problem, which is fixed, thanks to everybody here!!!!! I had a crack in my airflow sensor boot and I disconnected my decel valve. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1122002050.jpg

Is the sensor/gauge accurate? If so, 235 is a bit high. 240F is usually considered "too hot" in the 911 engines, while 250F is "too d*mn hot" (a la Anderson).
You might have more answers on the 911 board; most of us here on the 914 board see 76 911s as parts donors... ;) --DD |
