Just a hunch but, I think the OHIO 914teeners are trying to oust the Michigan guys as the State best represented at MWC 2005.

On August 5-7, 2005, under an 85 degree, sunny sky, S.M.O.G. hosted the Porsche 914 MWC 2005 for 75 registrants and 50 cars on the field in Whitmore Lake, Michigan.

Participants drove in from 5 Midwestern states (Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota) and Ontario, Canada. Renewals of old acquaintances and new friendships marked the ensuing disciplined Concours de Elegance, swap meet, Fun Run to Hell (Michigan that is), formal
awards banquet and nightcap at the usual watering hole
conveniently located in staggering distance to the motel.

The successful event was made possible through the generosity of the following corporate supporters from across the U.S.A. & Canada.
