911 transaxle for 914 motor

I have a 72 914 1.7 motor, I am going to use it in a Beetle sedan. One of my first considerations is what transaxle to use, I would like to use a 911 5 speed, and would like any advice any body might have to offer. I would also be intrested in hearing from anybody that has information about this type project (I do have the next-gen manual).
