"Top Gear" Petition

If you are familiar with the British show "Top Gear" that has been airing on The Discovery Channel, then you are probably also aware that it is no longer on the air as of a week ago. TDC claims that this is because the show reached the end of it's "pattern" - fair enough. What is troubling is that TDC says the show is being revamped for the U.S. market and will return in December in a new format.

I figure the only way they can revamp the show for the U.S. market is to take away everything British about it. That would take away what made it so special to begin with! This is exactly what they did to the original "Junkyard Wars" and it became something that wasn't worth the time to watch.
