Size of oil cooler opening in 916 front bumper
I'm doing a V8 conversion and would like to install the 916 conversion, but do not have specs for the opening size for the oil cooler space in the front bumper. From what I have seen, the design of the bumper limits how wide the opening can be (it needs to be cut out). I believe 1 to 1.5 sq. ft. is needed. Thanks.

The size of the oil cooler opening in the 916-type front bumper is the least of your worries when dealing with a V8 conversion. Pardon me, but where exactly are you planning to install the radiator(s) for such a conversion, in the rear trunk?
Unless you came into a massive amount of money burning a hole in your pocket (What happened to a 3.0L six conversion?), V8 conversions tend to bring associated water-cooled problems as well. |

The radiator goes in the front trunk (Renegade Hybrids conversion). It needs 1 to 1.5 sq. ft of opened space to cool properly. The area in the front used for the oil cooler is opened rather than just the plug removed. So the issue of the bumper opening would now come into play.
