Hey all, Don't post too often ,but I always appreciate reading all of the great info you guys provide.
I run an 88 944 daily, and Have a 75 914 2.0 in my garage, picked it up this past summer (my second 914 over the years, first one, 72 1.8, still remember taking a 30 mph freeway transition at 80 mph gettin air at the apex over an expansion joint in the concrete and landing and sticking like glue without a quiver! Awsome). Well, the latest soon to be sweet 2.0 is partially dismantled due to po starting resto and giving up. Motor and trans out of car, full factory f.i.came with it as well as some nice dellorto 44's complete with linkage etc. Motor has also been partially dismantled, no fuel delivery hooked up,heads off, exhaust and various other parts off also. Here in lies the problem, I am very into cars , have been all my life, My Profession as a custom fabricator- glass, carbon, prototyping, molds, thermoforming, paint and body, detailing , all of these jobs practically with my eyes closed hundreds of times.. Putting together a motor ....I aint got a clue!!!!!!! So, Who wants the Job? or can refer me to the right person,I dont have the funds to do the massive t4 kind of thing ,but I do Want a little kick in there, trading of services with cash for parts would also be very cool, let me know, thanks J.C. |

FAT Performance
1558 North Case Street Orange, California 92867 714.637.2889 www.fatperformance.com I came accross them at the 24 Hours of Daytona a few years ago. They build the race engines for Brumos Porsche in Tampa Flordia. They say they can get a reliable 180 bhp from a 2.0. They do lots of air cooled for the sand-rail guys. (type1 and type4). Give them a call. Chris
