Shout out to KarlP

Well after 5 years of owning a 914 I finally met up with a true 914 owner that lives only 30 minutes away!!
Great guy and still living teener.
Hard core too as it was cold and drizzling but we stood on the drive way and poured over each others car.

Hey man we need to get the other guys around here together and do a GCC Gulf Coast Classic So for it would be You and Me I am sure Fred Hurst will come down and Rob Watson from Tampa and there are a few guys in Pensacola.

Sure, I'd be glad to.
Better do it pretty soon, though.....

Nah, I think I'm going to keep what I got. I can't see taking on another project at this time. I went and visited Joe this weekend, he has a nice shell up on blocks. I think we could both say the only thing I got is a nice running motor and a smooth transmission. I haven't got it in me to build a whole car from scratch.

Then again, I have got a nice running 2.0 w/FI and a smooth shifting transmission. I tried to get Joe thinking along those lines for himself, but there's a fella who is up to his elbows!

Interested, Barry?

Comes with a cool engine stand with an old, but running, 1.8 on it. The engine stand is equipped with a battery, fuel tank, etc.
