Firewall Removal
OK, anybody have any Houdini tricks for removing the lower portionof the outer firewall without distroying it??
I've found the one in the parts car looks usable, but not sure that I can get it out in good enough shape to put in the project car. ------------------ Joe 74 Yellow 1.8L 914 72 Tangerine NoL 914 http://pages.sssnet.com/jkaull |

may i recommend a sawzall but just make sure you cut big so you can trim down later or even cut out the spot welds to do a real nice job

I was planing a combination of sawzall, angle grinder with a cut off wheel and spot weld cutter. But not sure where would be a good place to cut at the ends of the firewall where it meets the longitudinal.
