New and difficult fog/driving light question.

Hi all,
First off, great forum! I have never seen so many knowledgable people in one place at any time. I have North American (they did send 914's to Canada http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif fog lights with 35w tungsten bulbs. I also have Euro. driving lights with 55w h3 bulbs. The front bezels on the Euro. units are not as deep as the N.A. ones. I need the lens retaining springs for the Euro. units and wanted to take them off of the N.A. ones. However they do not seem to fit due to the reduced thikness of the Euro. bezel. Were there different springs between the units? If so does anyone have a part number for them? Many thank in advance. SVS

Hi,
Thanks for the response. Yes those are the springs in question. I have thought about fabricating them. That is if I can not get them elsewhere. What I was wondering is if they are supposed to be different? From what I have gathered they should be the same as the Euro ones. Do I have strange buckets/bezels? Thanks SVS 74 914 2.0
