Thermo Time Switch 1.8

I have a non-functioning cold start valve on my 74 1.8........Where is the thermo time switch and the temp sensor located ?.......Any other info would be helpfull.

temp sensor is in the air flow sensor box

there is not really a thermo time sw it is the aux air reg it does its job just by heating up when 12 vdc is applied to it ... the colder it is out side the longer it takes to heat up so it is some what self regulating ( from my understanding as a new be )

Check Haynes for the location of (and tests for) most of the L-jet parts.

The thermo-time switch is just underneath the cold-start valve on the manifold. The 74 doesn't have an intake air temp sensor, just a head temp sensor over by the #3 spark plug.
