I can't resist posting this - 3 DCNF42s from a Maserati Merak - purchased complete with spares galore. Seems a shame to part it out for my 2056 when it would make such a nice centrepiece...

I recently purchase a 928 engine for my 914 but is incomplete and is cheap for me buy another complete engine than buy the parts. Then the engine will be a base table. |

Edwardo has been looking at Sterling Gee's site. 928 motors are really a work of art. Hey I heard someone put a 928 motor in a 914. even heavier than chevy 350. way wider. are you planning 16V or 32V ?

Mr. Joe Ricard:
I read that some people have this conv. But I don´t who. I´m in contact with Mr. Rick Ollah. (other forum member that is in the process), Rick have a site with photos.(914alien) ( I don´t remember the direction but you can search by V8 ) I don´t know if is heavier, I believe not (all aluminium). But yes, Is a lot wider. I have a 16 v.and I want another 16v. but this time the 83,84 S engine. Someone says that CIS injection is simple and easy to tune, but I like the motronic. The S engine have good power and torque, the only mod that I want are headers to power effects. Last edited by Eduardo Castrejón Elbjorn; 11-09-2001 at 04:45 PM.. |
