why is the headlight motor fuse blowing?

hello everyone. when ever i turn on my headlights they will pop up once or twice with no problem. when they do this though i have noticed that the left motor is dragging inside. after once or twice the fuse ends up popping and the lights will not move..but they turn on. also are the highbeams and headlight motors on the same fuse? anyway could this dragging motor be the cause of the popping fuse? thanx

Yes, if the headlight assembly is binding it'll cause the motor to draw more current and can eventually blow the fuse. Disconnect the battery and check the movement by turning the motor manually, using the knob on the back of the motor. Locate what is binding, could be the headlight assembly needs adjustment or something wrong with the motor.
