Any suggestions, for a do-it-youselfer, on removing and installing the battery tray
and support? Thanks! |

To replace my battery tray and bracket, I used a chisel and a hammer to break away the spot welds, making sure to only damage the pieces that were going to be removed. Then I ground the old spot welds smooth. If the remaining metal that supports the tray piece is rusty, let me know & I can give you advice on how to repair that section.

You can also grab it with a pair of channel locks. Push and pull on it a bit and those spot welds will start seperating.
