NE1 need transportation of their vehicle?

hey folks.. just thought I would say "Hi" for the first time.... just joined last night... and figuring out how to move around the site is like trying to figure out what mickey mouse did to the wiring of my 914 before I bought it off of a lean sale... lol

Well... I'm in sunny San Diego... have a sweetly set up tow truck perfect for haulin 914's 2 at a time maybe even three (two on the flat bed), if anyone wants a wheel lifted transport I'll make it happen.. I just prefer all four tires OFF the ground.

Looking forward to joining some of the events and showin the progress of my 914 as it gets refurbished bit by bit.

Hi Sandor: With that kind of an intro you should become very popular. Lots of people trying to get vehicals to Los Ponchos for paint.

if Los Ponchos is south of "dee Borrderr", then I can't offer any assistance there... but happily TO the border.... brand new Nissan UD with a Dynamic flatbed and stinger... the ever so honest law enforcement there, including their un abided intergrity of course, would definitely find a reason to have such a vehicle confiscated and donated to a reputable charity . But anywhere else.... no problem... and if it is going to where I am going... such as a rally, show, or grouping of teeners.... split the gas is all I ask.

Oh.. word to the wise... when using a motorcycle floor jack under the front end of the 914.... uuhhmm... yeah.... gas lines and such can get broken, punctured or other wise miss led... lol
