What holds the small grills on, that are on each side of the engine grill? It looks like either very small nuts or some sort of push on clip (at three points?). Any suggestions? If clips, should they be replaced? Does PP carry them? Cheers! Jim

Jim:
They are push clips. 3 of them. If they are the originals they have a rubber covering and can be quite difficult to get off. I used a screwdriver to get it loose enough, then managed to pry them off with needle nose pliers. Squeezing them after they got a bit loose helped. I pretty much destroyed them getting them off (if you want to see what they look like there's 13 of them holding the grill onto the engine lid. Just unscrew the raintray.) I don't know if Pelican sells replacements or not, but I used #6 speed clips with nylon washers (I felt the nylon would help keep the rust away from the body. All those crappy little clips rust.
