Fuse and other problems! I have a 72 914 1.7 and am missing my fuse box cover inside the car and could use a nice layout of the fuses needed from left to right. My car also is idling at about 2500 what should I dop to fix this? I have tuned the points is there anything else causing this. Thanks Jake |

The fuse information is also available in the "914 tech specs" section of this very website. High idle is usually caused by one of two things: Vacuum leaks, or advanced timing. Verify the timing, and then start hunting for vacuum leaks. --DD |

The lid is the same as for a late model Super Beetle, like $7, or you could get the one with pictures instead of numbers 1-12 for about $40 |
