just another dead-end thread ;)

So I am 914'less. OK. Since today was a great day I decided to take a ride on my Rincon bike (dang I love that bike) what a workout since not riding it for two years. but anyway, the gears where the pedals are sucked my jeans into it and schredded them. :o

The 914 engine will be lowered today I think. maybe tomorrow, I have to get some sleep.

I have a old mac im using daily (made in 1994). it was dusty and i read somewhere that the 'hip' thing to do is to stick the motherboard in the dishwasher!! I tried it, lets see if I dont stop getting system crashes.

:) Thats it.

I wonder if Britt knows that many employers "google" a prospective employees name on the web and read whatever they can find about them???

i've been told before.

I do ALOT more around this area than you all see here or on the Club.

I am in this project (non-profit) to give computers to the lower-classed individuals in my local community.

I spent at least 20 or 30 hours on it already, with many more to go.

M. Hendrix 04-13-2006 03:11 AM

The band had a day between a Saturday night in Miami, and a Monday night in Ft. Myers. They stayed, but I rode ahead with the crew.

We left Miami at about 3:30am, and about 15 minutes out on the alley, Cory swerved to miss an old man, bent over in our lane.

We didn't.

The truck tumbled, and the gear punched out of the box. My rig was sunk in the Everglades. Some of it took 3 days to find, and dig out. Some went unfound. We had a 2 week old Yamaha PM 3000 console that was found under 3 feet of muck, all the mains amps (racks of 400-500lbs) all my guitar amps, everything.. under muck.

We salvaged it, and drove it over to Naples, where we rented a storage with big drains outside, and used around 20,000 gallons of water to wash it all out, then used 30 cases of Blue Shower on it all, and waited three days, baking it in the Sun.

Worked maybe 95%.

The old man was suffereing from Alzheimer's. The police found his car locked, and running, about 3.5 miles away.

It was terrible.
