In LA on the 25-27th.

I said this on the club site.. I will be in SmellA this month on the 25 through the 27th. I will probably fly in on the 24th.

The classes are in Culver City, and I will be staying close to there.

Anything 914 related going on that week?

Oh, and Aaron... I called the airlines, they won't let me take a sign on a six foot pole on the plane......

I live close. There's a few good places to eat and BS in the area. What's your schedule?

I posted on the club board but just in case, I can probably schedule a "business" run to L.A. that week.

Lunch?

At one point in the day it can take at most an hour and 15 minutes on I10 East or 60 East. At another, it can take over 3 hours. You have to be past the 110/10/60 interchange in L.A. by 3:00 P.M. if you want to make it to the Inland Empire before 6:00 P.M. on most days.

My Class goes through Thursday, so I have to go to Chino for the whole day on Friday. What time to I need to leave the hotel to get to Chino? 6 am, 5 AM. Remember, I can get up early... I will still be mentally on Central time.

That early all the bad traffic would be driving IN to L.A. Just figure an hour and a half + 15 minutes buffer time. If you get there early you can grab some breakfast at a place nearby, or we can head to IHOP friday morn.

If its that long of a drive, I guess I need to plan on either a redeye back home or wait until Saturday morning. The hotel will be close to LAX, and my flight will be leaving out of there.

Somehow I think myself, Slits and Toast are the only ones close to chino. Most everyone else down here is L.A. or O.C. areas.

If you are staying on Friday, may as well make it the weekend and hit the swap meet too. Chino is close to the swap meet as well.

From Culver City, you take the 405N to the 10E and follow it out to Chino. You might need to switch to the 60E near downtown LA. Mapquest it. In the AM, once you get past downtown LA, you are going against the commute for the most part. Should be no more than 2 hours and likely less barring any events that impede traffic. This also takes into account time you spend getting lost, but that's all good

Have them change your return flight to leave from Ontario (ONT). It's within 5 miles of Chino (used to live there). Losta nice hotels around the airport...and you're close to Norco so the fragile aroma of cow krap will keep you comfortable and close enough to Corona to make Aaron happy.

When I flew, I avoided LAX at all costs and flew from ONT. You can get there from here.

It's about time those a__holes drive somewhere except around the block and to Hooters. We will welcome them to the Friendly Inland Empire.....kevlar vests optional.

Ok.. here's the info.

I arrive in SmellA on Monday. I stay there through Friday morning. On Friday, I drive to Chino, and spend the day at our facility there. I stay at a hotel in Chino, and on Saturday at noon I fly back to DFW.

I have every evening after 5pm, and Saturday morning open.
