inside correctness, tricky one

OK here it is ,, we will need an expert here,, there is 2 kind of knee pad, with and without vents , apparently they changed this in 72 ( I may be wrong) the also changed the passenger seat in 72,, were the 2 event done at the same time,, do you automatically get a pad without vent if the seat does not move?????

Acox914 04-12-2006 11:12 AM

72's had a one year only sidevents... (diff than 73+ barely, same dash, different vents)

70-71 had no side vents....

73-76 had the standard side vents....

vents

but would a 72 built in 71 have vents,, I have an odditie at home a 73 built in late 72 with early doors ( no reinforcement) and late window crank,, does the vent match the passenger seat moving????

Acox914 04-12-2006 11:17 AM

only the factory can tell....

who knows... my early 74 had early gauges....etc....

Yes, I have seen a few of the early doors with the late style window winders. its a good combo!
They used up all the parts in the bin before using the new parts. Lots of combinations are still right.

when it comes to knee pads, I think you will have to believe Aaron...hes an expert.

I have a 72, it has vents..

Is inside correctness related to political correctness, or is scrappy the club dog???
