California has a nice set of cars, BUT the coast can rust this cars out as well.

Most mid-west porsche owners do not drive their cars daily like they do in california. So in my mind the best cars are in the MID-west. I have searched long and hard in the past in california for a good car.

Of course this reasoning does not relate to the lower dollar porsches such as the 914,924 and 944.

Again i understanding what you are saying, but it is possible to find a nice car in mid-west.

My friend just found a 20k mile 914....it has NO rust @ all and its a 2.0 liter. It had been sitting in someone garage since the 80's. Luckly my friend is a porsche mechanic so he was able to get the car back into shape without spending thousand and thousands of dollars...

Just my 2 cents and my wife tells me its only worth half a penny.
